Construction Details:

The black catsuit and gloves were purchased (from Hot Topic, of all places), and I already had the wig, boots, and gun. The belt is cast resin, and the bites are made from a Halloween store bullet bandolier that I spray-painted gold.

I'm quite proud of myself for the belt, as simple as it is, because it's my first resin casting. Once I got the hang of it, it was stupid easy and lots of fun.

Personal Thoughts:

I feel that Black Widow is one of those characters whose badass quotient is often overlooked. The woman led the Avengers without powers, for cripes' sake.
This costume was one of those that's been on my list forever but kept getting bumped down in favor of other costumes, so when it all came together I was quite pleased. One thing I didn't count on was just how comfortable this outfit would be- I felt like Sexy Flanders! I'll definitely be using this as a last-day easy costume for a good long while to come.

P.S. Read "Name of the Rose" by Marjorie Liu and Daniel Acuna. Best Black Widow comic of all time.
