Construction Details:

Yuzuruha was my favorite character in Muramasa and I made sure not to skimp on any parts of this cosplay. The part I am most proud of is that I made the geta shoes from scratch. I sandwiched 3 layers of 2"x8" pine and took the blocks to a belt-sander to shape it properly. Beyond that I drilled holes into the base of the shoes to make them lighter followed by painting and varnish. They make me so tall that I am at 7' and change, which is all the better at making my boyfriend look like a little boy when we're in these together.

Personal Thoughts:

I have put off Yuzuruha long enough, I had to get her done this year or it would never happen. I loved seeing her on-screen and when she was in the hot springs... HOT!!
