Construction Details:: This went remarkably quickly and SO smoothly! The costume is made of a floppy, stretchy, drapey spandex knit of some sort, with milliskin spandex leggings that were a color I'd originally chosen for the hood (then decided it was too light/wrong color family). Hood is of a non-stretch knit. I hand-drafted the tunic from a very generic t-shirt pattern I have laying around that helps me get my basic proportions correctly, and it is partially lined in flesh-colored swimsuit fabric. Sleeves are fully faced and hand-patterned. Hood was hand-patterned and then details were painted on with acrylic (sun with a stencil, curlicues by hand). I spray-painted some blue shoes and I was done! The blue headband is on purpose don't question the headband huehue
Personal Thoughts:: I think we all remember the night EOA5 came out, right? It was like 1 in the morning and I managed to squeeze my way into a livestream hosting the flash, since we'd effectively managed to break Newgrounds (hurr hurr). My Dave was the one who let me in so I had a spot in the limited-viewers thing and I was IMing with him the whole time, and the MOMENT Dave and Rose emerged from the Green Sun, on top of my screaming about the plot happenings, I basically screamed at him via Pesterchum "KATSUCON? GOD TIERS?? PLEASE???".....and thus it was. Continuing to cosplay every version of Rose because she is my bb and I have too much fun with my fellow kids ;u;
