Construction Details:

Where to start with this costume! I began this back in May 2009, with the intention of wearing it to a con that year. Plans changed and I wasn't able to finish up all of the beadwork on the skirt in time for that con. I let this costume sit on the backburner since then and picked it up every few months to bead a little more on it. Two and a half years and over 20,000 beads later, it's done!!!

Personal Thoughts:

This was such a labor of love! I can't even begin to fathom the amount of hours I put into this over the years, but I am so happy that it came together in the end! Somehow I'm not tired of beading after all of this - I'm actually really looking forward to beading on more costumes in the future. I've clearly lost my mind!
