How was the wig colored?

FW Ink & RIT Dye

Styling Notes

I took a Magnum and wefted in long bangs to the front so that they wig would reach my customers chin, as requested. The back and sides were then trimmed up; because a Magnum starts off so thick.

I then tried to use FW Ink to dye the wig Pink. It came out very light. Which was pretty, but was not the Fuschia color that is Boris's Hair. I dyed the purple gradient (as requested) into the top and then decided I really wanted the wig to be more saturated.

Next I tried RIT dye. I used Fuschia RIT dye and I was expecting it to boil out the color, but the purple stayed in and it faded even more lovely then before! I loved it.

I then spent some time styling it a bit. The commission was more for a dye then a complete style.

This was one wiggie step to learning more about dying Arda Wig's hiperlon fibers.
