Construction Details:

I made this costume to go along with my girlfriend's Chibiusa cosplay. She loves the two characters very much and I knew it would mean a lot to her for me to cosplay Helios with her, so I did. I actually had a lot of fun with this one!! The top is made of a thin, silky white material and the sleeves are made with two layers of white see-through fabric. The blue shoulder pieces and neck piece are made with a layer of interfacing covered with blue, silk material. The buttons are all hand-sewed on and the blue tassels had to be hand-sewed together as well. My pants are bought from a thrift-store. The horn is made from metal embossing material that I cut and glue together over cardboard. Lastly, the horn is wired into my wig with gold wire. All in all, it was a simple cosplay that was very fun to wear!!

Styling Notes

I just did very basic things. Slightly trimmed in the back and very heavily teased in the bangs for the big poofy-ness he has in his hair. I purposely bought this wig for Helios because I knew it was already quite close to his actual hairstyle.
