Construction Details:

Used mostly satin fabrics. Since satin doesn't handle dyes well I found that using flower spray paint does the job quite well. I eyeballed the blue gradient on both the petal-things and the umbrella and while it was an okay job, still wish I could have done a bit better (oh well). Hand drafted and stitched the little flower-body part to the bodice. Used a tote bubble umbrella as a base and created the fabric umbrella cover, I also cut and lengthened it as well. The umbrella handle is a combo of model magic, foam balls and acrylic paints.
