There's not a whole lot to say about this! It was thrown together two days before the con at the behest of a friend who had Japan all ready to roll and the fact that I had a wig that would work. The dress and apron are vaguely based on Simplicity pattern 2325! I'm rubbish at following directions, though, and spent more time embroidering leaves around the hem of the dress and the kerchief than I did actively trying to piece the whole thing together nicely.;; I was fortunate enough to be able to borrow multiple petticoats, and I think that made everything look at least 20% cooler.
