Construction Details:

||This was a dream in the planning for many years, and I was inspired to create this last year when my boyfriend told me of his dream cosplay: Devil Jin.|| My biggest issue was the sleeves and making them as poofy as they are in the artwork and in-game. I worked on a budget (a very small one) so materials had to be rationed/used wisely. To keep the shape, I used two layers of medium interfacing (I couldn't go buy the thickest interfacing in the world) on each piece of fur after I had sewn them into the sleeve shape and gathered them. Then poof~! The backpack was actually once a kid's lunchbox I picked up at the local thrift store for 50 cents, and the ears and eyes were made with what was left of my binder (as in notebook school shat) material. The shoes were these overly colorful PunkRose hi-tops (primarily pink and black, but...) that was painted, and the studs were fabric buttons I made and painted~ ^^ This whole costume was done on a very small budget, but it all came together very nicely~ ^^

Styling Notes

My friend did my wig, as I had a lot on my plate working on both my Xiaoyu and my boyfriend's Devil Jin. I just did the furry hair ties on the pigtails~
