Every year we try to push ourselves to tackle new challenges, this year is no different. I like challenges. They make life worth dying. Pretty much everything is made using craft foam and wonderflex, primed with gesso and painted with either acrylic or spray paint. The gems are resin casts backed with aluminum foil; I've never done them before but I'm quite pleased with how they came out! For certain items I used various items as bases including large embroidery hoops for the shield and back armor winged disc and a big plastic Easter egg for the helmet.
