Construction Details:

This was the very first costume I ever sewed together. I was extremely proud of it and still to this day would love to re-wear it. The kimono is made from a black satin material with the flames painted on. The obi and bow were both casa satin and as you can see I forgot to put interfacing inside the obi...ah the faults of a newbie! The bandages I used Super 77 spray adhesive to make the bandages stick to white knee socks that I wore underneath. The red hand-prints are my own. The weapon was crafted from foam, a wooden dowel, model magic, and cake decorating toppers. The necklace was made from styrofoam balls and painted as well as the anklet. I sewed in braids into the wig and made the horns from model magic as well!
