About this Costume
Construction Details:
I adore this costume! It was really quite a splendid one to wear, especially having made it all myself. I am so thankful to everyone who complimented me on it at AB11.
The main part of the costume is made up of two separate parts: the leotard/necktie/front bow, and the skirt/back bow. The leotard (and gloves)were made from a stretchy, spandex-like material, and the skirt, necktie, and front bow were all made from a standard cotton. The back bow and accents to the sleeves were made from a sheer lavender synthetic.
All of the accessories (choker accent, earrings, brooches, moons)were made by me, with the exception of the tiara base, which was constructed from sheet metal by Archichi. They are polymer clay, painted with acrylic and then glazed with clear nail polish for shine.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Personal Thoughts:
Who doesn't want to be a magical girl every once in a while? Sailor Moon, here to save the day! (or let Tuxedo Mask save the day XD)
