Construction Details:

This is pretty much a typical chinese dress which I cut in half so I could have a separate top and the tiny skirt on the bottom. I bought some red fabric with a chinese design for the sash, and the sheer pink sleeves also had a chinese print on them.

The booties are from the Felicia costume and I made mittens out of rabbit fur for my hands.

Personal Thoughts:

Otakitty has been my "handle" username and pretty much the name that I want use online with anything that's associated with my artwork and cosplay.
In any case back in highschool my friend Takumy and I did a comic with all our friends and each one of us fell into an anime stereotype character, I was of course, the cat girl.
Every couple of years we re-design our characters and update their look. I decided to create a costume that I could actually physically make some day, and had a high level of mobility because of my character type, then went ahead and made it!
