Construction Details:: The labcoat was purchased to make sure it was both accurate and identical to Neko~Kaolla's Mary Test coat. NK make the barrette using black super thick Foamy and thinner painted Foamy. The tee shirt was purchased and the star was sponged on by NK (sticky back Foamy makes AWESOME stencils!). Everything else was owned by me.
Personal Thoughts:: When Johnny Test first started airing on Cartoon Network, my friends were like, "You HAVE to watch this, the sisters are JUST like you and Julie!" So I did, and I love them and the show. Mary is just like Julie and Susan is just like me, and it's a perfect-for-twin cosplay! We pretty much felt morally obligated, but not in a bad way. More like in the "we can't respect ourselves in the costuming community if we don't do these costumes" kind of way...XD We have so many prop ideas in the works, too! They are just so much fun to portray, and I love how many people were happy to see them!
