Well it was harder than I expected it to be, considering the different shades of blue that had to be used. I based it off a jumper pattern from Simplicity, don't remember the exact number, and we had to split the pattern to get the different colors. As of right now it needs a little more tweaking, and maybe taken in a little since it's still too big on me, but that won't be hard. The wig I got from Ebay from wigglamour - they were great and I got the wig in 2 weeks!! The hair clips were just simple clips I got and partially painted so they were gold enough. I might change them to get the right clip for a future cosplay. The necklace wasn't hard to make once I figured out what to use for it. Basically I went to Home Depot and into the Kitchen section and got a tube...like the type they use for a dishwasher or something like that. I cut it up and painted it with gold...several coats. Then added the black part and used a piece of tube to have them stick together. It worked out great in the end and wasn't nearly as heavy as using the Sculpy I had planned to use. The only parts I didn't get done in time is the thigh pouch (which at the current length of the dress you wouldn't have seen anyway...hence why I still need to alter it a little) and the boots. I was planning on making boot covers, but ran out of time. I will have them for a future con since it bothers me that it's not the complete look.
