Construction Details:

In these photos,I portray Himura Kenshin during his hitokiri days. The shoot in the woods represent the time period where he first started out assassinating for his beliefs. Man was it hot that day... The winter shoot is suppose to be where Kenshin was fooled to thinking that Tomoe betrayed him. As he is lost in his confusion and disbelief, his scar begins to bleed again hence the blood. Not only that but, he is also ambushed by other assassins causing more wounds and of course lots more blood. Took me awhile to add the blood onto the costume and I also used rigid collodion to create a deep scar. I think it turned out ok. You can't really see it in these photos but I was wearing violet contacts as well. IT WAS HELLA FREEZING...surprised I didn't get frostbite or sick with my wet/frozen socks. The hakama/gi were made by Elrowiel on deviantart. The wig was styled by ~Rociel-Redgraves on DA. Arm guards by negativedreamer. My gf helped me find the scarf. Everything else make up, blood, props etc. were either made/modified or found by me. Photos taken by my friend Tom, big thanks to him for enduring the cold/heat with me.
