Construction Details:

I made this costume because Link's Awakening was the first Zelda I ever played growing up and then went back to play the original and ALTTP. Marin was relatively simple to make, until I realized I had done the trim upside down. It's staying upside down for now, seeing as the trim is all applique work with satin stitching, and i really can't bring myself to fix it right away since it was so time consuming in the first place. it will be fixed before I wear it again, and I'm kicking myself for butchering it the first time! The wig was borrowed from a friend since mine didn't make it here in time. I'll also be fixing that, as the hair style isn't exactly correct. The dress is made in a beautiful silk I got for a great bargain, the blue stripes are done in casa satin and yellow linen for the applique on top of it. the sash is linen.
