Construction Details:

The costume is not fully finished yet. I only had a week to work on it before I had to wear it. The Kimono ended up being ridiculously accurate length wise, so I wore black spandex shorts underneath it. It ended up fitting the outfit well. The designs on the sleeves were hand painted. The obi and bow were also hand painted. Arm guards were made from craft-foam, painted with acrylic, and glued to spandex. Armour stuff was all craft-foam, with some lanyard string I found and painted with acrylic, then hot glued to the kimono. Hair pieces were all craft-foam. (Yay for multipurpose craft-foam!) Wore black socks over purple socks with flip-flops. Sword was borrowed from a friend and tied a leftover piece of blue fabric to it.

Personal Thoughts:

Love the outfit! I have been wanting to do a ninja looking outfit for a long time. Now that I got a taste for it I want to do more! Plus, Momohime is such a cute but butt kicking character!
