Construction Details:

Made everything but the hat and shorts from scratch in two or three days. The sequins on the bustier were glued on. I drafted my own pattern for the tailcoat, which is fully lined with facings. The shorts were originally pants which I shortened and added the ribbons and cuff. The hat was originally a gold top hat from Ricky's which I covered with the sequined fabric. I covered my eyebrows using liquid latex and a lot of makeup. :)

Personal Thoughts:

I so enjoy wearing this costume. Columbia is just such a fine specimen.
