Construction Details:

The main body was made of 10 carved 1x35x6 inch foam panels sandwiched in green fabric with holes cut out for eyes and mouth and arms. I used see through black mesh fabric for the mouth and eyes. I also used forest acrylic paint darken the lines running down cactuars body. I also incorporated about 8 pockets inside the main body (very deep pockets). The rest of the costume consisted of; hand sewn gloves and shoe covers with same fabric from the main body, and machine sewn (by me) pants and shirt using a simplicity pajama pattern (i forget the pattern number). I also used acrylic paint to continue the lines on the main body down the sleeves and pants of the pajamas. I used elastic on the pants and shoe covers so they wouldn't fall down or off.
