Construction Details:

This costume was a long winded labour of love which cost a lot of money in the end although I made as much myself as I could :) 1. The skirt - made from heavy black suiting material and constructed of 3 layers with a thick band at the top. Secured with velcro 2. The top is a black fitted top with appropriate panels sewn over the top and sleeves added 3. The neckseal and gauntlets were made by a leatherworker 4. Belt also made by a leatherworker friend 5. Boots purchased off a well known auction site :) 6. the bald caps are the plastic sort, custom made by the same guy who did the leather work for me. I blend the edges using Acetone and a cotton wool bud and then blend the seam and cover the entire baldcap with a mix of red acrylic paint and "prosaide" to give the "skin tone" effect. Makeup is basic snazaroo and then black eyeliner (LOTS) and eyeshadow. Oh, and white contactlenses. 7. Lightsabers are "Ultrasabers" sabers and simply modified with some leather straps.
