Construction Details:

This costume was fun to make! I made the pannier out of plastic-cased steel boning, and a polyester "silky solid" fabric I found in my storage. The silver parts of the costume are made with silver dupioni silk. The sleeves and bust are done with silk charmeuse and silk georgette. The main part of the dress (the red) is polyester silk shantung.
