Construction Details:

The shorts (and the 15-foot-long scarf!) were the only thing I actually made. They're twill and cording, with "Sputnik - 1957" written on the left leg with a pigma pen.

The tank is a Goodwill find, modified from a circus-tent of a tank to something more suitable. The number panel on the front is a scrap of white fabric with "648" and "Russia" written on it with pigma pen.

The socks and shoes were purchased.

Personal Thoughts:

MAN, I WOULD HAVE WON IF BELARUS WEREN'T HOLDING THE MOON.
