Construction Details:

All clothing items were made from altered patterns, except for the gloves and shirt, which I drafted myself. The shoes were a crazy project. They were built with Converses as a base, with upholstery foam carved to create the bump at the front, and covered in fabric. The treads are thick foamies (there is a tutorial on my DA if you're interested). The wig was mostly blue when I got it ("tipped" isn't very accurate from wig websites, the fiber was mostly blue), so I hand-colored more black into it with a sharpie. The mask is a simple plastic mask from Joanns, with sunglass lenses as the eyes. It's a fun costume to wear, because it freaks people out - and everyone thinks I'm a guy! Guess that means I'm doing a good job crossplaying, though. This has become a winter costume, though, because it is BRUTAL during the summer. It was hell at AFO because it was unbearably hot, plus add layers upon layers of black fabric and black paint... Ugh.
