Construction Details:

I purchased the skirt and already had the boots. For the shoes, I glued white craft foam on for the stripes. I bought a black long sleeve dress at the Salvation Army and altered it by cutting all the way down the front, adding velcro, foam buttons, and cuffs. I took an old green tie and painting the white stripes on. I bought the gloves. Now I made the scythe from scratch with construction foam, paper mache, modge podge, and spray paint. It was constructed to slip on and off a metal pole. Unfortunately I was prohibited from using the pole because it was made of real metal. I apologize for the quality. I was with three other people and we were constantly moving. I had no time to get a really good picture of my costume.
