Construction Details:

I used a pattern! Oh jesus christ the world is ending! I modified a simple Chinese dress pattern and somehow with a lot of magic and melted butter I made it work. The dress is stretch satin (outside) and stretch twill (inside) which was a huge mistake but still came out alright. Apron is micro peach twill and I love it to death. hair buns were borrowed and edited, and the Prinny pillow was purchased from NISA! I'm half SUPER PROUD and half disappointed with the construction of this stupid costume XD Using the stretch twill for the damn lining of the dress to make it a little sturdier was the stupidest thing ever since it made it TOO stiff. eeghghsjghfgk. The ruffly apron was the funnest part, but I fucked up and made the ties too short so I couldn't make it a legit bow. SAD.

Personal Thoughts:

The design is based off of this: (http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/242/242604/img.html) a promotional telecard for the new Prinny game in which Asagi gets a little bit more time in the spotlight! Huzzah! I apologize for the outer pair of panties showing. I tried to keep them from slipping into view but clearly that didn't work out too well. I wore this for about 5 minutes at Otakon so I guess I wasn't very prepared... I love Asagi and, with enough time to adjust, I love this costume, but I gotta figure out a better way to keep the outer-panties discreet/in place so they don't peek out and look all trashy.
