Construction Details:

I adored this scene from New Moon and loved Alice's dress (it's purple, hee!) It was very tricky to pattern since the cut of her (most likely designer) dress is a bit odd. I had to do a lot of tweaking, but I still look sort of pregnant in it if I don't stand right! :O It's made out of a cotton sateen, to match the color and sheen of the original. The jewelry bit on the front was custom-made by yours truly (though it's difficult to see what it actually looks like in the movie.) To complete the look I wear her crest necklace, a similar ring and bracelet, and a crest bracelet (not accurate, but I like it anyway!) And of course, no Alice costume is complete without SPARKLES~ Unfortunately they don't show up very well unless I'm outside. ;)
