About this Costume
Construction Details:
White stretch spandex leotard with a layer of beige stretch spandex underneath. The skirt, collar and bows are casa satin. The white stripes on the collar is 3/4 inch ribbon. The odango shields are craft foam glued to a barrette. The tiara was craft foam. The gem on the tiara was clear and the back painted red. The earrings were made with silver and the crescent moon earring was made with Sculpey. The choker was casa satin and the moon on it made with craft foam. The brooch was Sculpey and rhinestones. The gloves were made with the same fabric as the leotard. The skirt was faced and hemmed with an invisible slip stitch. The boots were bootcovers made with upholstery fabric and a 12 inch zipper up the back. The moon on the boots was craft foam. The rolls on the gloves, hip and shoulders were made with the insulation foam put around window AC units, folded & sewed, and then covered with stretch fabric and sewed on. The rolls were all done completely by hand.
