Construction Details:

I made the uniform jacket by modifying a Civil War uniform pattern; the rest was clothes I already owned (though I added the fuzzy collar and patches to the bomber jacket). The burger plushie is a large dog toy I found online, and yes, it squeaks. ;D

Personal Thoughts:

I was introduced to the idea of Hetalia cosplay (and Hetalia itself) back in the fall of '08, when a friend IM'd me saying, "we found this awesome manga where countries are people and YOU HAVE TO BE AMERICA". Intrigued, I gave a "lol k", and set about reading the comic and the rest, as they say, is history.
