Construction Details:

Pretty tough outfit to make to say the least..o.o. It was hard to tell if their outfits were armor or fabric or a mix of the two for most part..heheh. I really think I should of used a dark pleather type grey material now for this outfit but at the time this was the only material I could afford to work with ^^;. Still have to fix a few mishaps in my Gale outfit but overall turned out pretty good considering the time constaints..:). The hardest part is most definitely the 'chaps'..>.<. I'm going to have to fix them one of these days.. Bodysuit:Made from the bodysuit pattern from kwiksew with an altered collar. It was pretty hard to find spandex or nylon material with the ribbed pattern but we managed to. Suit top:Made from a heavily altered corset pattern with all the design on top including the strap sleeves added in. The gold orb design things were light brown craft foam which was painted and rubnbuffed with gold then with the black details added in with a black sharpie. Chaps:Not too happy with how these turned out. I should of used a pants pattern and altered them but instead I tried to just figure it out on my own. I tried to add craft foam to the parts I thought looked like metal but it didn't turn out quite like I thought it would. Helmet:Made entirely of craft foam with zippers installed into the sides. Most of the hard work in this was figuring out the entire thing looked as the reference pictures I had to work with wasn't very good. It turned out alright but again I wished I had used the grey pleather or this as well now.
