Construction Details:

Meiko was made from a store bought dress pattern that I modified slightly to fit the version I was doing of her costume. Dress was simple red cotton, that was patterned from a Monroe style dress pattern. It was my first time working with a pre-made pattern, but it was much easier to make the dress once I figured it all out. Top of the bust line has a line of white lace. Apron was made with white cotton, and I cut the fabric for that without a pattern and sewed it all together from there. White undershirt was thrift store bought, though I altered the collar so that it match the version I was doing, and boots were also thrifted.
