Construction Details:

Lots of vinyl and two remakes went into this. >_< I made the pattern for the dress part myself. It's made out of red and black pvc from syfabrics. The belts are from some random trim I found at Joann's. The rings are pieces of curtain hanging parts spray painted gold. The boots were a gift from a friend who really wanted to see this costume finished. I originally made the costume in about a week. I had the box of fabric lying around and decided that it was time to finish making it. It turned out pretty decently for the 'rush' job. The hat originally had to be stuffed to stand up. The new hat is awesome and stands up all by itself. The costume got remade when I pulled it out of the closet and found that an old roommate had managed to get black stuff all over the rest parts. >_< I reordered the fabric and carefully pulled everything apart and repieced it together. I used wax paper to get the pvc to run through my sewing machine. The hat is lined with interfacing and has to be transported with the edges rolled to hold it's shape. No wire in the hat... it's just posterboard under the pvc rim.
