The dress is a modified Vogue pattern in white satin (first time with that fabric) with a boned foundation to hold it all up. I like the way it fits, but the top part (the part I modified, of course) puffs and pinches in weird places and generally pisses me off. It was symmetrical when I cut it and sewed it, but when I put the bodice and skirt together, they didn't line up. The shell and lining didn't take long to work, but the foundation was put in backwards, so the boning jabbed into my waist. The armor is made of craft foam that was sealed with Tacky glue and water and mixed with white acrylic paint. I polished the gold on with Rub 'n' Buff. every piece was individually made so that it could be woven together to match Nomura's design (I think he's out to destroy cosplayers). Unfortunately, the armbands broke apart after the competition, so they look a little weird in these pics. Also, the necklace part was spirit gummed to my collarbone and wanted to escape all night.
