Construction Details:

This thing took me a month and a half to do. The inner dress is a green-blue linen, the outer robe is... honestly I'm not sure, but it's preinterfaced and wonderful. It's lined in generic green-blue lining from JoAnn's. The belt is suede interfaced with cotton duck and embellished with craft foam that's been sealed, painted, and varnished. The headdress is predominantly craft foam and fabric covered cardboard. The earings are paperclay. The entire costume was draped and drafted from scratch by me.

Personal Thoughts:

It took me two weeks just to find the fabric I wanted! Ahh, but I'm super happy with how this came out~ And so was Dave Filoni! He's the supervising director for the Clone Wars cartoon an he said I was the first Satine he'd seen and he signed my gauntlet T~T I'm so happy~ Actually I've been informed that I'm the first person to finish this costume, which kind of blew me away since I'm never first at anything, lol. So yay!
