Everything made by me. @__@ Wig is the most awesome ever! It hardly tangles. So nice <3 I was really crazy wanting to do this. I knew I was when I spent just about 60 hours painting this whole thing. I started 20 something hours of it before Spring Break, and then continued asap when Finals were over. I spent so much of that time painting, and only half of a day sewing it all together. Only one picture of this outfit exists in a collection of rare Pretty Sammy illustrations, so I had to make up a lot of it. Misao has the whole obi covered by a paper she's holding up, so I had to make up the obi, the lower half of the kimono painting, and the back. I based the design of the sleeves and the top from as much as I could make it out with the art work. I did sketch work on paper first, then made poster board cut outs of the butterflies and traced them on. I only stayed for the cherry blossom event for a couple of hours. My boyfriend accompanied me, and he started getting really bad allergies from the flowers. Felt really bad for dragging him with me. :[:[ I really thank all the photographers too!! I know I was rushing. X__x

Personal Thoughts:

Even though this is super obscure, I love Pretty Sammy...hahaha. So many people won't know what it's from, but it's okay. I adore the character. Selling this kimono and obi + accessories! :)
