Construction Details:

I used Folkwear pattern 129, and blindstitched for the first time. It was time-consuming but not that hard, and really looked nice. I made the apron with applique. I sort of cobbled together the kanji from a few screenshots, so it's probably not right. The obi does not knot in the back, I skimped out on that and just used velcro (and didn't take any photos from the back). I used some spare green bias tape to tie up my sleeves. Thanks to waynekaa for picking me up a kiseru. My wig is a Patricia from Amphigory in 24BH613. I need to trim the bangs more.

Personal Thoughts:

I really enjoyed making this costume.I gained weight in a weird way over the winter. This costume barely fits anymore. Sadness. So the pictures I grabbed at Fanime aren't of me at my best.

Styling Notes

Switched the part, trimmed the bangs, stuck the back into a low ponytail. I wish Amphigory still offered this wig; I really liked it.
