Construction Details:

Wow, this costume is really simple. The top is actually a super long wrap I sewed out of a yellow knit. For me, it works doubly as a chest binding. The skirt is a basic two piece skirt with a back zipper and waistband made from Kona cotton. I wanted to achieve the two tone look the character's had on their hair, and all the pink wigs out there were just too bright. So, I found an inexpensive white wig on Ebay, and the bottom part of the wig was dyed pink with Sharpie ink. The Pokute plush was made from fleece and I added on his face with fabric scraps and careful buttonhole stitching. He's actually a bag - his head opens up and snaps closed so I can keep my keys, badge, or whatever in there! The character is barefoot but I wear flip flops at conventions.
