Construction Details:

This was one of my first exposures to anime style characters when I was young, a video game in my local arcade, and I loved it. I've seen several people do the various versions of Athena thanks to her fame in KoF, but dunno that I've ever seen someone do the original duo. It was a costume I wanted to do for..well, many years, and was finally indulged when I asked Darcy and she was just as excited to do it.

The actual costume was very rushed and a few parts of it show that. I will probably redo the collar and closures, and get proper shoes. Maybe. The swords were what took a lot of my time, which is funny considering they were a little semi-original flourish I wanted to add to the costumes. The enamel paint just wasn't being cooperative with the heat and humidity. I had to waaaaay simplify them, so I wasn't thrilled with how they ended up.
