Construction Details:

This costume took quite some creative thinking and work! All of the diamond areas are patch-worked which took some very precise patterning to get right so that everything matched up and was accurate to the character reference. I'm not good with props and this was one of my first cardboard props and it turned out so great! I had some help on the head piece since I don't have the tools for such things and it was interesting to try and figure out how to get the thing onto my head! I'm very proud of how this all came out. I went with white and cream tones because that's how it looks in the art rather than grey. This is one of the most detailed costumes I have done in a while. It took about a year of work (with a lot of spaced time in there lol).

Personal Thoughts:

Finally wore this costume and got some awesome pictures! For the longest time I didnt care too much about this costume, mostly because its a pain in the but to get dressed into with so many pieces, but after some recent updating to it I'm so in LOVE with this costume. The lining on the top could be better constructed as the top stitching made it a mess inside...but over all I'm so proud of this costume.
