He's cute, he's fun-loving, and he's dumber than a bag of rocks. Who doesn't love the title character of Hetalia?

I am not sure why, but most often when I choose to crossplay I pick these adorably stupid guy characters. Italy is no exception.

When I first started watching the show, I kept thinking that my husband had to cosplay as Germany. He has the looks and most of the temperment to play a perfect Germany. I looked for a character to cosplay, and I soon came to the realization that N. Italy was my favorite in the series.

I think my favorite part of the costume is the springy bit on the side of the wig. It's so much fun to poke at, and it somehow just *makes* the whole costume!
