Construction Details:

This is probably the most obscure costume I've ever done. The set was one of the scratch card prizes available in-game at Hallowe'en 2008. The main purple dress was heavily altered, and the black overskirt is from a simplified petticoat pattern, decorated with plastic skulls from a local drugstore and silver beads. The corset is black vinyl lined with velvet, and all the trim and lace on the whole thing is hand-sewn. The belts on the dress and corset are hand-made, with buckles salvaged from boots I altered from a different costume.

Personal Thoughts:

I hate sewing vinyl. I hate it.
