Construction Details:

This was over 8 months of sewing, painting, quilted applique', sculpting and the horrible abuse of fake flowers. The base of the dress is a rich red silk dupioni, the vines are the same material though shot with green so that they vary with the light.

Personal Thoughts:

I really enjoy Redd because she is very colorful and stands out. She's also...big. Not quite requiring two doors to get in and out of places, but close :) I think that it fits the character without becoming impossible to move about in. I've even been able to do a level of combat onstage!
