FFVIII is my second favorite FF, coming in after X. Rinoa's growth as a character from clueless rebel to powerful sorceress was complex, and I could relate to her as a teenaged girl at the time, myself. Every girl wants to find her own Squall! This is probably my all-time favorite cosplay. I searched all over the city for blue rib-knit fabric dense enough to show up in photos. I ended up finding it on clearance, and bought almost an entire BOLT so I'd have Rinoa options FOREVER. I'm very proud of the miniskirt fabric find, and the Rising Sun weapon is probably my favorite prop achievement. I met many friends through this piece that I still have today. It is so special! :)
