Construction Details:

I really love Maria's character even though we don't know much about her yet. This costume is my baby even though I can't see a thing once all the mask pieces are on and have to be guided everywhere when I'm in it. Everything is made by me except for the hoopskirt. I actually made a petticoat for the dress but it didn't look as poofy as I wanted when worn under my dress. The upper half of the dress is true to the manga (darker colored flowers, lace details on the plunge) while the bottom half is done more like the anime (ruffles-wise).
