Made the vest using a pattern drafted by Dia, built the boots off a pair of platform sandals (why did I do this) The space bracelet is two metal cookie cutters. Rick was made in two days out of pinewood with my dad's help.
- Personal Thoughts:
- I've wanted to make Haruko since 2003 when I first watched FLCL on a shitty Compaq desktop in my tiny freshman dorm. There are some things I'm really proud of on this costume and some things I really can't explain (like making my own shoes) but it came out alright, so eh!
