Construction Details:

Lina! One of my favorite characters EVER. So I managed to finish most everything by Anime Boston. In the hotel room. Late Friday evening. Huuuuuurrrrrrrr. Never doing that again! The suit's made of berry red moleskin (LOVE LOVE LOVE THE STUFF <3), the underpants and boob holster are some cotton lycra stuff. I'm remaking the suit since it fits like crap. Unfortunately the spaulders didn't turn out like I wanted them to thanks to time running out... The gold embellishments in front of the gems need a lot of work. The base and gold parts are made of sintra, the gems are epoxy resin. I cast them from a big light bulb. I got some sweet hammered black spraypaint for the spaulders too which gave it a really cool texture. The earrings are ping pong balls. I sculpted the talismans and belt buckle thing. Cast those in epoxy resin and backed them with foil for delightful gem shininess. I'm still missing her dagger, but I've got its base done and the sheath as well. Gonna try and redo everything for the next con. ...Whenever that is. Contacts are "red wolf" contacts. They looked really cool, as natural as red eyes could be, hahaha.
