About this Costume
Construction Details:
Made in about two days before AX. Oi!

Shorts and top are made out of vinyl. Shorts I used the same pattern I did for my Lady ones, but just made them shorter. Top I used a bikini pattern for after making two from my own pattern and not liking the way it laid on me.

Jacket base is marine vinyl with the designs also in vinyl. I heat and bonded the designs but in reto-spec I wish I didn't because they didn't bond very well in places. I now need to re-make the jacket. The marine vinyl was flatlined with a black satin so the icky white backing wouldn't show in pictures and to help not make stick to me. lol

Boots were purchased and them modified. Flame designs were painted and stripes were heat and bonded.

Belt was made from scratch from white vinyl. I put the studs in and the belt buckle was casted in plastic and then painted.

Wig was... a challenge. It consists of two wigs, one Ivy and Willow in Dark Red from cosworx. The willow is the base and the Ivy was made into the ponytail. I used some foam core in the ponytail. I'm working on a tutorial so I don't have to write up my long convoluted process. lol

Gun is a WIP and I hope to have it next time. :P
Personal Thoughts:
I wanted to cosplay two characters for sure from Gurren Lagann: Adiane and Yoko. They are my favorite characters in the show just because of their strong personalities, besides both of them are EQUALLY badass. Having already cosplay Adiane I finally got around to cosplaying Yoko. I was hesitant at first but now I'm really glad I did after seeing it all come together. :)

Used and Ivy and Willow to make this monster. Ivy is the ponytail and willow is stubbed. Used a styrofoam ball for the pony tail perkiness.
