About a week and a half before Sugoicon 2008 I'm informed by a friend that she was going as bunny girl Haruhi. In a very Haruhi-like fashion she informs me that I have no choice but to cosplay Mikuru. The costume was generally very rushed. The leotard was bought and modified to match Mikuru's as best as possible. The bunny ears were white ears that were covered with red fabric. I was lucky to already have the wig and shoes on hand.
