Construction Details:

Quatre started out as one of the costumes I really wanted to do once I got back into cosplay. For Youma, it was one of the outfits I brought that I slapped together out of a costume wig, goggles I already had, and found objects. I didn't really start to improve on it until I saw photos of Miri's Quatre on Google Images and other places (mostly 4chan, I confess) and felt compelled to put more effort into it. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Quatre's one of those costumes I like bringing to every con because he's easy to wear and comfortable. Sometimes I switch pieces with Miri (my current vest was made by her and sometimes I wear her wig when I'm too lazy to find mine) but most everything else was found in the bowels of Goodwill, except for the violin, which was eBay'd. Quatre's always been a favorite character of mine, so it's fun to run around as him.
