About this Costume
Construction Details:
The armor was made using Craft Foam, glue and ModPodge. I used an old tutorial that's not online anymore (but I wouldn't recommend it now because the armor eventually stuck together in there box and was ruined). The boots were short boots I made covers for out of dance spandex. The shirt and bra were made from the same purple taffeta. All the trim is made from the same stretch fabric as the cape. The Bra is lined with some stiff interfacing and wire on the top and bottom. It stayed together in the middle with some fishing line.

All the Red and Yellow 'gems' are model magic that was painted coated with Mod Podge. The hat is a stocking cap I covered on the surface with fabric and then added the top piece which was made of craft foam and a hanger.

The contacts were purchased from YouKnowIt.com and the wig was purchased from a random theatrical wig store through the costume shop that was by my house at the time.
Personal Thoughts:

I was a big fan of Lunar growing up. It was a costume I really wanted to do when I first started cosplaying. It was only natural that I jumped at it before I knew what I was doing. But I did work REALLY HARD on it. Not bad for one of my first projects.

Also, for most these photos I was extremely sick. I went to con and the next morning I had a fever. BUT because I had just started cosplaying I didn't want to miss out on my first photoshoot with other cosplayers (I didn't live next to any at the time) and with Elemental (whom I had been following online for a year because I loved her stuff)
